Klosters ski chalets exist in a resort synonymous with blue blooded high society and aristocracy, Klosters has a reputation that stretches far and wide. Perfectly combining royal sophistication with rustic charm, Klosters confirms Switzerland’s dominance within the ‘winter season’.
INTRODUCTION
Originally a 13th Century monastic retreat, Klosters chalets stand proudly in this romantic village-like atmosphere, under the patronage of the British Royal family, is blissfully unpretentious and stands in stark contrast to its neighbouring Alpine metropolis of Davos. Hosting 320 km of pisted runs and with the highest ski piste hailing to heights just shy of 2,900 km, Klosters’ and its neighbouring ski area of Davos caters for all levels of ability. Madrisa is the hot spot for families with small children offering a ‘kidsland’ at the foot of the slopes, ideal for the little ones to burn off their excess energy! For those more intermediate skiers take the Gotschna cable car to the areas of Gotschnagrat and Parseen where waiting for you are an extensive range of challenging red runs. The 12 km marked run from the Weissfluhgipfel to Küblis is one of the longest in the Alps and takes you on a journey from high rocky peaks across alps through forests down to the lower meadows dotted with wooden Klosters ski chalets and barns. With locals as fiercely protective of their greenery as they are of their pristine village, Klosters bestows upon her guests the magical experience of by day winding in and out through these wonderful woodlands and idyllic scenery, lapping up the fresh, alpine air before retreating back to their Klosters chalets for the late afternoon. This magical experience then continues by night in the form of horse drawn sleighs and floodlit night skiing along the Selfranga run. Combined with an exclusive social scene that operates discreetly and subtly away from the public eye, acquiring a Klosters chalet is a haven for families and friends who are looking to escape to a quintessentially mountain retreat to relax and remain undisturbed throughout their stay. With a 2 star Michelin restaurant, a casino and an abundance of stylish bars and restaurants, Klosters has something for everyone and anyone.

This means that you might hand the server CHF 50 for a CHF 47 meal. If you're paying by credit card, hand the server a cash tip of up to 5%. For Taxis as in restaurants, round up or add 5% when you're happy with the service. Tips to your chalet staff are entirely at your discretion.
